So…2019 is about to end. It’s been a quick, interesting, and hectic year.
The script for my first episode of Doki Doki Literature Club is pretty much done. Next step is the voiceover and then editing and I should be able to have it up by Friday with plenty of time to spare.
One hour’s worth of text takes several hours to translate which is…good to know. The script takes roughly an hour, give or take, and the subtitles for the voiceover takes about the same amount of time as the script. Ignoring the time it takes to prepare other material such as images and such, I can probably make one video every three days?
BUT I need the spare time to work on preparing such materials as well as working on my site so that’s not an option for now.

I’ve finally figured out my method for painting clothing (folds and such to be specific), but it still needs quite a bit of practice so that I can simulate different materials. I can really only do softer fabrics for now, but I want to be able to simulate common materials at the very least. Anywho, it involves quite a bit of solid colour and erasing, but I’m able to ignore the off feeling I get when seeing solid instead of soft colours when going through the process.
The before-after. I’m definitely getting the hang of it, but I need to memorise the types of folds again and I’m still incompetent with material types.
However, I still have no idea what to do with the style. I mean, I haven’t been thinking about it all that much since I’ve been busy with video-editing and such, but I REALLY need to sort something out. This is taking way longer than expected. The progress I’m making clothing is okay, but I need to sort out figure drawing ASAP.
Anywho, that’s all I have for today. Thanks for reading guys, and I’ll see you next time.
