So, my apologies for not posting yesterday as I had work and was tired as hell and also did nothing but download more 3D assets pretty much, however…
3D Asset Rescheduling
I’m thinking about only downloading assets, but then again I’m almost halfway there (I swear, the sheer amount of assets I can potentially use is mind-boggling). I’ll probably just keep going until I’m done, and then update every once in a while when I’m in need of more.
Liquify and Transform
And they say that CSP is better than Photoshop LOL just kidding, it really just depends on your needs, and PS can do pretty much everything CSP can, although it isn’t as straightforward. CSP is like a jack of all trades which has almost mastered everything but not quite, while the adobe creative suite is highly specialized and the programs master their individual fields. That being said, CSP does NOT have Liquefy (F to pay respects) BUT does have the mesh transform one, and a highly customizable one at that. It does pretty much the same thing as Liquify but is a little more work while Photoshop’s Liquify works more like a finger and I’m pretty sure PS has a mesh transform tool as well.
I’d watched a digital art tutorial online which mentioned Photoshop’s smudge tool and thought to myself, ‘hey, CSP might have it too!’. I checked: NOPE. You can make some really cool smoke effects with it, so I really wanted something like it. Then I thought to myself, ‘someone might’ve made a smoke brush in assets’. I checked: YUP, and it’s beautiful.
Just gotta keep going with the 3D assets until I’m done. I’ll probably draw a little here and there working on a newer style, but that progress will be really slow, so there won’t be many illustrations, if any, until I’m done, which should be in a few days.
Anywho, thanks for reading! I’ve got work tomorrow, so I’m not sure if I’ll be posting. See you guys whenever I do.
