So…I’m done I guess?
Difficulty
To sum up the difficulty: Body > Head/Clothes.
The Eyes
I did have a few issues with the eyes. For one, the eyes were too far apart and this issue was one of the things I’d corrected yesterday. The next thing is the detail. Even small details can screw with the perception of age, depth etc. and it was tough fixing it up. On top of that, it looked plain as hell without a little bit of makeup, which brings me to my next issue…
Step 1: Don’t try to draw in makeup, IF YOU DON’T KNOW HOW TO APPLY MAKEUP
F. Looked around a bit and just applied a smidge to her eyes. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to learn about how to apply makeup…yay…lol.
Clothes
In regard to clothes, not only does the base for the clothing throw me off ’cause it’s flat and detailless, the fact that I don’t know where to start with clothing folds also became a thorn in my behind. Surprisingly, however, using a rather hard low opacity watercolour brush I just drew a bunch of random lines on different layers of lighting and shadow while taking into account the flow of the fabric: it works! IT WORKS!
I’m so happy. The folds took an hour or two to figure out, but I’ve figured something out.
Next Step
Style modification. *Sigh* I have no idea where to start.
Anywho, thanks for reading! I’ll see you guys tomorrow.
